Karnafuly Ship Builders Ltd. (KSBL), established in 1994, is Bangladesh’s leading builder of ocean-going and inland vessels. With one of the largest private shipyards in the country and KSBL has a design collaboration with G B Marine Singapore.

KSBL gained national recognition by reconstructing the 15,000 DWT tanker M.T. Banglar Shourabh for BSC. Over 33 years, KSBL has built 1200+ vessels and repaired 800+. It pioneered tug and dredger construction in Bangladesh. Its sister concern is building a 150,000 DWT dry dock in Anwara with World Bank support. As part of its CSR, KSBL provides free training for welders and technicians and runs a school, madrasa, and mosque.
